Yesterday started out a bit on the cool side and a little frosty but temps warmed up quickly and the first half of the day was fairly nice.Clouds began to move in by mid-afternoon and temps dropped rapidly.Temps were near the freezing point and some snow began in the evening,changing to hail and rain by midnight.Overnight the temps rebounded to above freezing.

It is quite damp and drizzly here this morning and there will be little to no change in conditions throughout the day.Some clearing will begin tomorrow and the rest of the week will be generally a mix of sun and cloud with seasonal temps.

5 April 1922: A young woman wearing very little clothing disappeared into the snowy woods, while the temperatures dipped to -4°C. Villagers from Maniwaki, QC, searched for her or her dead body for 3 days, at times wading up to their armpits in icy-cold water.
