The warm weather looks like it’s here to stay and yesterday was no exception.Afternoon temps reached close to +12°C and the evening was clear and mild.Ovenight temps did drop to slightly below freezing but it’s expected to warm up nicely again today.Some rain is on the way for tomorrow and Monday but only small amounts are forecast.More warm and dry weather will be the story for next week however,according to an article in todays’ Chronicle Herald,typically 1/4 of our snowfall comes after March 12.It doesn’t look like that will happen this year but the weather can change here quite quickly and it’s not unusual to have snow for Easter.

Liverpool,Nova Scotia - Staying dry

The nice weather continued yesterday with afternoon temps near +7°C.The evening temps were near 0 and overnight they dropped to a little below freezing with some frost.

Today is looking like it will be another warm and dry day.It may actually be drying up too quickly here…..from the Chronicle Herald today:

A dry winter and nice weather this month have led to an early outbreak of grass and brush fires around the province.

Most of the blazes have been relatively minor grass fires. But as of noon Thursday, three of the fires have burned into brush and woodland, requiring the Natural Resources Department to attend.

We had a real spring day here yesterday with afternoon temps reaching +11°C and lots of sun.The evening was clear with temps dropping to the freezing mark and a little below overnight.

More sunshine for today and it’s still looking good right up until Sunday.

Yesterday was a bit cooler than previous days but the temp did reach 7.5°C.There was a brisk wind making it feel a little cooler.The evening was clear with temps dropping to below freezing.

It’s chilly here this morning but should warm up some as the day progresses.The forecast has been revised and the precip for Friday and the weekend has been changed to sunshine.Rain is still possible on Sunday.

Yesterday was another mild day here on the southshore with temps once again near +10°C.The evening was clear with temps dropping to the freezing point.Overnight temps were a little below freezing and the sky remained clear.Today is expected to be sunny but not quite as warm as the past few days.The weather will remain quiet until week’s end.A storm is expected to move in then with rain and/or snow a possibility at this point.

The warm weather continued yesterday with afternoon temps in the +10°C range here.Winds were light and the sky was generally clear.The evening temps dropped to near the freezing mark and the sky remained clear.

The mild weather is expected to stay with us throughout this week with daytime highs forecast to be above the seasonal norms.We may see a little precip tomorrow and then it’s all clear until the end of the work week.
