Yesterday was quite a stormy day here.We had a fair amount of rain,68mm was measured at the Western Head weather station,along with some very stong winds.There were only minor power failures and a few reports of flooding in this area.Wind damage was minimal.The storm ended in the early evening as the winds died out and the rain stopped.The rest of the evening and overnight was quiet and foggy with temps near +2°C.

For the next few days we are expecting the mild weather to stay in place and a little more rain is possible.

The storm that is currently battering our area began to be felt yesterday afternoon as winds began to increase and there was some light rain.The winds grew stronger overnight and have caused some power failures throughout the province.There are reports of tree branches down in various places,as well.We have had some very heavy rain through the night and there’s lots more on the way.

Wind gusts of up to 90 km/h are expected today especially over coastal areas.

Total rainfall amounts of 50 to 100 millimetres are expected.

Yesterday was another damp and drizzly day here.The temps were in the +4°C range for the most part and the snow is still gradually melting away.

An intense storm is on the way for tonight and tomorrow.Wind and rainfall warnings for this system are found  here .Currently it is quite windy and conditions are expected to deteriorate throughout today and tonight with the bulk of the rain expected tomorrow.

We are having a network problem here.The cams and server will be offline until it is repaired/replaced.

Yesterday was a damp day with temps a few degrees above freezing.There was very little change in the conditions overnight.It looks like today will be similar and the storm on the way for tomorrow will be just rain here.

Missed a few days here due to being away.Anyways,it’s been mild here the past few days with temps above freezing and the snow is gradually melting away.A little precip is expected today and tomorrow but we could get a real mess here on Thursday.At this point it’s looking like more rain than snow but anything is possible at this time of the year.Time will tell.
