Yesterday wasn’t a very good day here.There was no sun at all as we were stuck in a bank of fog for the day.There were also a few periods of drizzle and temps were in the low 20Cs for the day.There was very little change in the conditions through the evening and overnight although it is currently beginning to lighten up.We should see some sun today with temps in the middle 20s.It’s looking like next week will once again be warm and humid.

Today -- Cloudy with 30 percent chance of showers early this morning then a mix of sun and cloud. Risk of thundershowers early this morning. Fog retreating to the coast this morning. Wind south 20 km/h becoming southwest 30 this morning. High 21 except 28 along parts of the coast.
Tonight -- Cloudy periods. Fog along the coast. Wind southwest 30 km/h. Low 17.

It was quite hot here yesterday with temps in the upper 20°Cs along with lots of sunshine.The evening remained warm and mostly clear.Overnight some fog moved onshore but that is expected to dissipate early today and the revised forecast is calling for today to be similar to yesterday.We may see a little rain overnight tonight and early tomorrow and,other than that,the weekend is looking pretty good with sunny and hot conditions extending well into next week.

16 July 1922: A steam schooner sank in the Strait of Juan de Fuca off the BC coast after crashing into a freighter in a dense fog. The site of the accident was difficult to reach. The freighter, only slightly damaged, picked up 2 life boats and then cruised around under the pall of fog, aggravated by smoke from nearby forest fires. Conditions at my location near Liverpool,NS at 6:34:28 AM : 19.3°C | Overcast | Wind: NW 13 km/h
(Normals: Max: 24°C Min: 14°C)
We had lots of rain here yesterday morning and into the afternoon with 38.2mm being measured at the Western Head station.The rain ended in the afternoon and the rest of the day was overcast.Temps actually rose a few degrees in the evening but temps were in the lower 20°C range for the day.
Today is expected to be sunny and quiet warm with temps in the upper 20°Cs.

Yesterday wasn’t too bad here yesterday regardless of the lack of sunshine.The day was mostly foggy with temps in the mid 20°C range.The fog remained with us through the evening and overnight.
The forecast has been revised somewhat and today we are expecting lots of rain.Clearing tomorrow and then back to cloudy conditions for the rest of the week.

We were back into the heat here yesterday with temps in the upper 20°Cs and high humidity levels once again.The evening was comfortable with temps dropping to 16°C and lower humidity.Fog moved onshore in the late evening and it is quite foggy still this moring.That is expected to burn off later and today is expected to be another warm day here.Some rain is in the way for tomorrow.

There was lots of rain here yesterday with 23.5mm being recorded at the Western Head station.Temps were near 20°C for the day and there was very little change overnight.It is still raining here this morning but we are expecting it to end later today.More showers are expected tomorrow and then it’s back to steady rain for Wednesday.Clearing and warmer by the week’s end.
