27 November 2010 - Conditions at 7:39 AM: -2.6C, Mostly clear, Wind: W 7 km/h

Yesterday was mild but wet with rain falling for most of the day.High temps were near 8C.Clearing began in the late evening and temps dropped to below freezing overnight.

We are expecting a few showers today as temps rise to above freezing on the coast.Inland areas may see some flurry activity.More showers or flurries are possible tonight.

A stretch of dry weather will move in tomorrow and be with us until the middle of next week.Temps are expected to be within the seasonal normal range.

We had a cool but mostly sunny day here on the coast yesterday with a few snowflakes in the morning.Inland areas received a fair amount of snow.High temps were in the single digits and winds were fairly brisk throughout the day.The evening was calm with temps near the freezing point.

Rain is expected today,clearing and colder tonight.

25 November 2010 - Conditions at 6:36 AM: +1.1C, Overcast, Wind: NW 22 gust 38 km/h

Yesterday started out quite mild but temps began to drop in the morning as the sky cleared.By mid afternoon we were in the single digits and the wind was quite gusty.There were a few flakes of snow in the air throughout various parts of the afternoon.Temps in the evening were near 0 and the winds continued to be brisk.

We are expecting a few flurries today,tomorrow will be a little warmer with rain.

The small amount of snow we had on Monday evening was completely gone by yesterday morning.We had mild temps with a few showers yesterday with the high near +10C.Temps remained mild throughout the evening and overnight.

Temps are expected to drop today and a few flurries are possible tonight.Winds will be a little on the brisk side.The rest of the week will be seasonable and dry up until Saturday when some rain will be moving through the area.

The pilot glided his plane onto a 200-m-long frozen lake, surrounded by spruce trees. He and his passenger spent 24 hours on the trail without food or shelter before reaching safety. 21 November 1957: 1957: A bush plane with 3 hunters went down in bad weather over Quebec's Lac Simon. A hunting dog's carcass washed up on shore, but no other bodies were found until 2006 when the site was mapped using side-scan sonar. One body (some flesh and organs still attached, its skull beside it in the silt) was found 15 m in front of the plane, a 2nd body 30 m behind it, and a 3rd in the cargo hold.
