A Gray Saturday

This morning's photo:There's not much to say about yesterday other than it was a typical February day for NS....albeit warmer than some years but still on the minus side or at 0° for a high temp.

There's not much expected for weather today but tomorrow is expected to be messy.....snow changing to rain in the forecast.

Today's pic is interesting....that's completely untouched but looks like an old tin-type.

Lots Of Snow

This morning's photo:

We had quite a bit of snow here yesterday...about 10cms in total. It snowed steady until the late morning and then we had flurries off and on throughout the day and lasting until the late evening. There was very little wind to deal with and the snow was quite light-weight and easy to manage.Temps were a couple of degrees below freezing for the day and dropped to the -10 range in the night.

Overnight it cleared and this morning it is nice and bright but cold.Temps are expected to improve but will only be at or near the freezing point.

There's no active weather in our forecast for the next few days.

Snowy

This morning's photo:

While other areas of NS were getting snow yesterday,we weren't.We had precip falling for most of the day but it was generally in the form of rain with ice pellets occasionally mixed in.The temp was a degree or two above freezing here during the daylight hours.

Overnight the temp dropped to below freezing and a snowstorm moved into the area.It is currently snowing quite hard and we have approx. 5cms on the ground.Total accumulation is expected to be 10cms....looks like we may get more than that before it is over.
