While other areas of NS were getting snow yesterday,we weren't.We had precip falling for most of the day but it was generally in the form of rain with ice pellets occasionally mixed in.The temp was a degree or two above freezing here during the daylight hours.
Overnight the temp dropped to below freezing and a snowstorm moved into the area.It is currently snowing quite hard and we have approx. 5cms on the ground.Total accumulation is expected to be 10cms....looks like we may get more than that before it is over.

As a seasonal resident of Nova Scotia, originally from Germany, I'm near Liverpool from time to time, in summer as well as in winter, but never very long. But I'm very interested in the conditions when I'm abroad. So I'm very glad about your blog. I take a look daily, for I appreciate that information on the real conditions more then the look at the official forecast.
