The Storm That Wasn't

Wind is v. light SW.
We didn’t get very much of a storm here yesterday.We had a couple of cms of snow in the late afternoon and it quickly changed to rain.Temps rose and the snow mostly all melted overnight.The winds that were forecast to be quite strong were not a factor here.A few strong gusts were all we had.
Today is expected to be quite mild with cooler weather expected to return tomorrow.

Yesterday was like a summer day here once the rain stopped.Temps held at +17C here for the day and reached +20 in some areas.The evening was generally clear and calm with temps in the +10C range.Overnight temps dropped into the single digits and today is expected to be clear and cool.All is looking good for this week with no precip expected until the weekend.

Tropical storm-like conditions here today.

Yesterday was cool and wet here.The morning temps were in the single digits,began to rise in the afternoon and we had lots of rain.The rain continued overnight and the temp continued to rise.It is currently very warm and windy….almost like a tropical storm.The power was off earlier but all has been restored here.

This storm is expected to last through the day,clearing and cooler tomorrow with a decent week on the way.

Yesterday was mostly overcast and cool here.The afternoon high was only about +8C.Temps actually rose in the evening ahead of an approaching front and we were at +12C by 11PM.The wind also increased and we had some rain overnight.Temps dropped early this morning,the rain stopped but it has remained windy.

Today is expected to be cool and blustery but generally clear.More rain on the way for the weekend.

Yesterday was a nice day here with fairly warm temps and sunshine although it was not as warm as Tuesday.Even though the afternoon high reached the lower double digits,there was a breeze from the North for most of the day.The evening was clear and calm with temps dropping near to the freezing point.

Today we are expecting some showers and then more steady rain tonight.Temps will be varying quite a lot of the next few days until this current system finally leaves the area early next week.

Yesterday was very nice here with lots of sunshine and warm temps.The afternoon high was ~14C.The evening was cool and overcast and we were unable to catch any of the Orionid meteor shower.

Today is expected to be similar to yesterday and then some rain is expected tomorrow.

Yesterday was another wet and cold day here.The temps were in the single digits for the day,it was windy and there was quite a lot of rain.Rain is not so bad when others are getting snow,ie Massachusetts and western Canada.Overnight the temps held steady but the rain ended.It is still quite breezy here and we are expecting more rain over the next few days.On the bright side,temps are expected to be not too bad for this time of the year and a warmup is expected next week.

Yesterday was cool,mostly overcast and breezy here yesterday.The afternoon high struggled to make it to +10C.It was very cool in the evening with temps near the freezing mark.

This morning it is very windy with some light showers.We are expecting a fair amount of rain today here on the coast and inland areas may see some wet snow before the change over to rain.

 Thanksgiving Day,which was yesterday here in Canada,was a very nice day with temps in the mid teens Celcius ,sunny skies and light Westerly winds.The evening was clear but the temp took a nosedive and overnight temps were near the 0 mark.It is still quite cool here this morning and the word S N O W has been mentioned in some forecasts.We are not expecting anything like what has been happening out West but there is a possibility of a flurry or two in the expected precip.

Today is expected to be seasonable with some sun.Rain is expected tomorrow then clearing and cooler for Sunday and on Canadian Thanksgiving Day (Monday).

Yesterday was a wet and windy day here.The real heavy rain arrived in the evening and was torrential by times.Wind gusts were in the gale force range.The majority of the rain ended overnight but it is still very windy and will remain so for the day.

Some clearing is expected tomorrow and then it’s back to rain again for Saturday.Next week is looking like it will be dryer and seasonable.
