We had a fairly nice day here yesterday with temps reaching the double
digits.The wind was a little brisk and cool and did make it feel a little
cooler.The evening saw clouds move into the area and temps drop to near
freezing.Overnight the sky cleared,temps dropped below freezing and there is
a heavy frost here this morning.
Showers are expected later today with more steadier rain tonight.We are
expecting cloudy and wet conditions to be with for the next week.

It turned out to be a fairly decent day yesterday with mild temps and some
sunshine even though there were a few brief showers through the late
afternoon.The evening was clear and calm with overnight temps dropping to
the freezing point.
It is cool here this morning but is expected to warm up to the seasonal high
as the day progresses.Some showers are expected today and tomorrow with more
steady rain moving in for next week.

21 April 1855: A vicious wind storm struck the harbour in Collingwood, ON.
Found among the strewn debris were broken planks, roof parts, bedding, and
stove pipes. Three boats were tossed inland and smashed to pieces. Ice more
than a 0.5 m thick crashed into the pier. The harbour water rose and fell
1.5 m in less than 5 minutes. Suddenly the harbour was ice-free and
