20 November 2010 - Conditions at 7:35 AM: -6.5C, Mostly clear, Wind: WSW 5 km/h

Yesterday was a somewhat chilly day with the high only at about 8C.There were a few snowflakes in the air in the morning but the afternoon was generally clear.The evening saw temps drop to below freezing.

This morning it is the coldest it’s been for quite awhile and there is a heavy frost.We are expecting some precip today in either the form of showers or flurries.The cold weather will be with us over the weekend with a slight warm up possible early next week.

19 November 2010 - Conditions at 6:40 AM: 2.4C, Overcast, Wind: W 10 km/h

It was cool with periods of sun and clouds here yesterday.The high was near 10C but the gusty winds made it feel cooler.Evening temps were in the single digits.

We may see a few showers today and it appears that the cool temps are going to be with us for awhile.Flurries are possible tomorrow.

18 November 2010 - Conditions at 6:33 AM: 8.8C, Overcast, Wind: WSW 37 gust 49 km/h

Yesterday was warm but quite wet here yesterday with some showers and periods of heavy rain in the late afternoon.Temps were in the low teens.There was some clearing in the evening but more rain is expected today.

Cooler weather will begin to move in tomorrow and we may even see a few flurries next week.

  • The Pleiades star cluster passes high across the south at midnight. If you see the cluster out of the corner of your eye, it looks like a bright smudge of light. But look straight at it and you will see six stars that form a tiny dipper shape.

17 November 2010 - Conditions at 6:42 AM: 10.5C, Overcast, Wind: ENE 8 km/h

The mild weather is continuing in Atlantic Canada and yesterday was no exception.Temps were in the middle teens for most of the day and only dropped a few degrees in the evening and overnight.We had a few small showers yesterday and rainfall amounts were small.The evening was calm and quite foggy.

More warm weather is in store for us again today with some rain a good possibility.Temps will begin falling tomorrow and by the weekend we will be in the lower single digits.

17 November2008: 2008: City crews in Moncton, NB, hurried to make new ice at the coliseum after an artificial mountain of snow melted prematurely when temperatures reached 18°C. The city had trucked in several tonnes of leftover shaved snow from arenas and piled it on top of a tarp to sculpt a snowboard hill for a competition. Large earthmovers and dump trucks later hauled it away.

Yesterday was another dry and mild day here with temps reaching the lower double digits.The evening was generally clear and cool.Clouds began moving into the area and temps began to rise during the overnight hours.Some rain is expected today with more on the way for tomorrow.Clearing is expected on Thursday and temps will be dropping substantially as we move into the weekend.

It was a very nice Autumn day here yesterday with afternoon temps in the lower double digits and generally clear skies.The evening remained clear with temps dropping into the single digits and overnight we were down to the freezing point.

Today is expected to be similar to yesterday with increasing cloudiness later today as some rain begins to move into the area.Temps are expected to remain mild until the latter part of the week.

Yesterday was another very nice day here with temps reaching into the upper teens and lots of sunshine.The evening was clear with temps in the middle single digits.

Today and tomorrow are expected to be sunny,a little cooler than yesterday,but still a few degrees above normal.Showers will be moving into the area on Tuesday and staying with us for most of the rest of the week.
