The wind and rain that was expected started around 4AM this morning.It is
currently quite stormy and I have the following readings on my weather

20 to 30 mm. Fog patches dissipating near noon. Wind south 30 km/h gusting
to 50 increasing to 50 gusting to 80 early this morning then becoming west
70 gusting to 100 near noon. Temperature falling to plus 3 this afternoon.
Tonight A few clouds. Wind northwest 50 km/h gusting to 80 becoming west 40
gusting to 60 early this evening then diminishing to 20 overnight. Low minus

Wind warning for
Queens County issued

Winds gusting up to 100 km/h on Thursday.

This is a warning that potentially damaging winds are expected in these
regions. Monitor weather conditions..Listen for updated statements.

A low pressure system will develop over Southeastern United States this
evening then intensify and track northeastward over the Maritimes on
Thursday. Winds gusting up to 100 km/h are expected for the above regions on
Thursday with gusts as high as 110 km/h from the Margaree Harbour to bay St.
Lawrence area of Cape Breton. Rainfall amounts up to 40 millimetres can also
be expected from this system.

Also be advised that higher than normal water levels and strong winds will
produce rough and pounding surf along the Gulf of St Lawrence coastlines on
