Yesterday was mostly gray and cool here with temps below freezing for the day.A warm up began in the evening with temps reaching 0°C by midnight and continuing to rise overnight.Temps are to remain mild with a few showers until this afternoon and then a cold front will be moving in and staying for a few days.Highs are expected to be only around -10°C until Wednesday.

Yesterday was another good January day with decent temps,a fair amount of sun and a few passing flurries.The overnight was mostly clear with temps staying in the normal range.
A few flurries are possible again today and then a warm up is on the way with rain for tomorrow.Unfortunately,the bottom is going to fall out of the thermometer on Sunday and a few cold days are on the way.

Yesterday was quite mild in this area with Spring-like temps and lots of melting.The ground is now almost completely bare in my backyard and the ice that was on the travelled areas is gone.
The overnight temps were only down to a couple of degrees below freezing.
Temps are expected to be near the freezing point for the rest of the week with a few flurries a possibility.

Icey

Yesterday was quite stormy with a couple of cms of snow that changed to rain in the evening once temps rose to above freezing.The rain persisted through the night with temps staying mild and that snow has washed away along with some that was left from a previous storm.
Our roads are clear this morning but there are reports of numerous accidents and very slippery conditions to the east.All schools are closed along with some businesses.

Snow and Ice

Yesterday wasn't too bad here with sunshine and temps within the normal range.The evening was clear and cold and overnight a disturbance moved into our area.Some snow is currently falling with more on the way,rising temps and then ice pellets changing to rain tonight and tomorrow.
It's not going to be too nice here today but at least the cold wave is over.
