Chilly Morning

WOW!!!…it’s only 5°C here this morning!!! I am sure there had to be frost inland overnight. It seems to me that it is early for that to be happening.Hopefully it won’t persist.
For those interested,I have added an update box to the main site via Twitter. So far it seems to be working quite well.

Autumn Is On The Way

Autumn is beginning to be apparent here now.The overnight temps are dropping into the single digits and the daytime highs are generally in the mid-teens to low 20s.We are also starting to see the leaves change color and they are beginning to drop….it’ll soon be raking time once again.

A little of Ike here

What was left of Ike went through here today. He was much calmer and gentler than when he was in Texas. We only got a little light rain and it was a little breezy. All was clear by the late afternoon and temps reached the 30° mark with quite high humidity. It was uncomfortable to say the least. We are expected to have another warm day tomorrow and then temps will begin to drop to more seasonal values or maybe a little lower.2°C has been forecast for Friday overnight.
