We had a mixed bag of weather yesterday with rain and fog in the morning and
then sunny and warm in the afternoon.The fog moved onshore in the evening
and it is still quite foggy this morning.
We are expecting some showers throughout today and then clearing should
begin tomorrow.The first of next week will be sunny and seasonable.

We had a pretty decent day here yesterday once the fog lifted in the
afternoon,however,most of the morning and evening was quite foggy.Temps were
not as high as what they were on Tuesday but still topped the seasonal
high.We are now starting to see quite a variation in the actual Liverpool
temp and the temp reported from Western Head and labeled as being Liverpool
online and in the media.
Today is expected to be warmer and sunnier than yesterday.Showers will be
moving into the area tonight and persisting through tomorrow and Saturday.It
is expected to be clear and warm to start next week.

We broke out of the cloudy,wet weather for short while yesterday afternoon
and temps spiked into the lower 20Cs.The sun,however,was out here for only a
couple of hours and then the fog moved onshore and temps dropped to the
mid-teens.The fog was with us throughout the evening and overnight and temps
remained mild.
Today is expected to be somewhat similar to yesterday and then it's back to
clouds and rain.The next chance of sunshine is Saturday.

1853: A terrible fire, driven by a fierce northwest gale, raged north of
Ottawa, ON, and along the Ottawa River, sweeping away fences, bridges,
houses, mills, cattle, and even humans. It consumed 2 churches and 30 other
buildings, including grist and saw mills on Calumet Island in Quebec and in
Pembroke, ON. About 200 families lost their homes. Fortunately, heavy rain
