Yesterday was another very nice day here.The sky began to clear in the late afternoon and we had a mostly clear evening with temps a few degrees above freezing.It was another good night to see the ISS and Discovery.Discovery is scheduled to land today so,if all goes as planned,that was our last sighting for this mission. Discovery @ approx 8:30PM

Today is forecast to be another nice day with very Spring-like conditions.Rain is on the way for tomorrow with unsettled weather remaining until the middle of next week.

Yesterday was another mild and sunny day here on the south shore.Afternoon temps reached into the teens and there was very little wind.
The evening was clear and above freezing.Overnight the temps dropped to slightly below 0°C and some clouds moved into the area.
Showers are a possibility this morning,clearing this afternoon.Tomorrow is expected to be sunny and warm,precip Sunday and into next week.

Yesterday morning was cold and windy but it warmed up nicely in the afternoon.The wind continued to be quite brisk through most of the day but began to die out in the mid-evening.
The evening sky was cloudless and perfect for viewing the ISS and Discovery after their undocking:More clear and warm conditions are forecast for our area until Sunday.

Yesterday was a messy day here with flurries for most of the daytime hours and some strong winds throughout the evening.There was no accumulation here as the temps were a couple of degrees above freezing.Other parts of NS were not so lucky.

'The infamous Cobequid Pass, a rolling stretch of highway in northern Nova Scotia, was closed for about an hour Tuesday as a spring snowstorm descended on the Maritimes, creating an infuriating traffic jam that left more than 150 vehicles stranded.

Just after 2 p.m., amid whiteout conditions, about 15 vehicles were reportedly stuck in the ditch as tractor-trailers spun their wheels on the unplowed westbound lanes near Glenholme.

The lanes were reopened to traffic about an hour later, but the leftover mess — a 10-kilometre line of vehicles — wasn’t clear until 4 p.m.'

Yesterday wasn't really too bad until the early evening.That was when the snow started here.Before that,we had a somewhat cloudy day with some brisk north winds and temps near +10°C.
Our total accumulation here was just a couple of cms,enough to cover the ground,and that was it.There's not enough to even think about shoveling and what is on the doorsteps can be removed with a broom.However,there are reports of near 20cms on the ground in other parts of the province.
Today is to remain 'wintery' with warmer way on the way tomorrow for the rest of the week.

Yesterday was a fairly warm and sunny day here.Afternoon temps were very comfortable for early Spring and we had a completely cloudless sky.The sky remained clear through the evening and the temps dropped to a couple of degrees below freezing.We had another perfect view of the ISS/Discovery last evening at approx 8:30PM.
This morning it is once again chilly and some light cloud cover has begun to move into the area.
Some precip with cool temperatures are forecast for the next few days and then it's back to sunshine and warmer weather for most of the week.
