Clearing Later

This morning's visual:Well yesterday was cloudy and drizzly until the late evening. That was when the thunderstorms started. We had two rounds of that..the first started around 10:30PM and lasted about a ½ hour and then the next one came through around midnight. The first one was more intense than the second but neither were too dramatic or caused and damage or power failures in this area.
More thunderstorms are possible this morning with clearing this afternoon.A little better tomorrow and it's looking good for the weekend. - ©Al C 2008

Stormy For The Next Few Days

This morning's visual:Yesterday was a mix of sun and cloud with a little drizzle. It was actually quite warm in the latter part of the afternoon. We are pretty much overcast here this morning and the system that went through Boston is on it's way here. They had lots of intense lightning, hail, wind but a lot of the steam will be out of it when it gets here. There is the possibility of some lightning but nothing much to worry about. So far, there has been no precip here and, going by the current radar, most of the rain will be north of here.
This slow moving system is expected to influence our weather for the next two to three days before moving out of the area.
