Local flooding.

==discussion==
A warm front extending eastward from a low pressure system
approaching from New England will bring rain into the Maritimes
starting on Friday and continuing into Saturday morning.
Current guidance suggests that parts of Western Nova Scotia and
Northwestern New Brunswick may require rainfall warnings.

This will be followed by a frontal zone that will remain nearly
stationary over the southern Maritimes into the holiday weekend and
will continue to give significant rainfall amounts to parts of the
Maritimes. Current guidance suggests that Nova Scotia north into
Southern New Brunswick would be under the highest threat for rainfall
amounts. However guidance differs as to the amount and timing of the
rainfall for the weekend. Even if warning criteria are not met, the
extended period of rainfall may cause local flooding as well as
ponding and hydroplaning on the roads.

The public is advised to monitor future forecasts and warnings as
warnings may be required or extended.
