Yesterday was another damp and drizzly day here.The temps were in the +4°C range for the most part and the snow is still gradually melting away.

An intense storm is on the way for tonight and tomorrow.Wind and rainfall warnings for this system are found  here .Currently it is quite windy and conditions are expected to deteriorate throughout today and tonight with the bulk of the rain expected tomorrow.

25 February 2003: Residents in northeastern New Brunswick had heard loud, cracking noises over several nights. Some thought they were earthquakes, but seismologists discounted that. Others felt it was breaking ice and snow crust.
