Yesterday was another beautiful day here with afternoon temps in the +16°C range and less wind than on Thursday.The evening was clear and cool,perfect weather for viewing the ISS as it glided through the western sky just below the crescent moon a little before 9PM.Temps remained mild throughout the overnight hours.

Today is expected to be sunny and warm once again.Unfortunately,the nice weather will be coming to an end next week with some rain and cooler temps on the way.There was actually a mention of possible flurries on Wednesday but that has been revised to just rain.

Some used horses to reach polling places (at times through 30-cm-thick mud), an all-day round trip. The crescent Moon and the Pleiades star cluster snuggle close together tonight. They are high in the west at nightfall and set after midnight. The Moon is to the left of the small, dipper-shaped Pleiades.
