Min / max over the past 24 hours, as recorded on my station:
(Temps are in °C)
Today's forecast: Sunny. High 10.
Clear. Low plus 1 except minus 3 in low lying inland areas.
Today's weather trivia: 25 October
1840: A gale, among the most severe in 20 years, assaulted Saint John, NB.
Waves ran to a great height, sending spray a long way and at one time
immersing the Beacon Lighthouse. Wind-wave action damaged several smaller
vessels in the harbour and forced many large vessels from their moorings.
Two men on a raft drowned. The gale also razed 2 buildings, carrying off
parts of their leaden roofs.
