1863: In Clearville, near Chatham, ON, an old gentleman and his daughter met
sudden and unexpected death during a thunderstorm. The daughter was upstairs
in their house, closing a window, when lightning entered it and killed her.
The charge descended through the floor into a lower room, striking and
killing the father, as well as violently shocking his 2 sons.
