Today's Weather Trivia:
2004: For drivers in Amherstburg, ON, it was a scene right out of a horror
movie. About 20 dead and 12 injured seagulls littered the ground near River
Canard. Amherstburg police figured the birds died during an overnight storm,
possibly as the result of a lightning strike. One motorist said when she saw
the birds it was a frightful and horrible scene.
