Yesterday was very wet here.We had heavy rain for most of the day along with high SE winds.Temps were mild at +10°C for the day and night.26.5mm of rain was measured at the Western Head weather station and a little more than 50mm was measured by a private station approx 10kms east of me.
Overnight the heavy rain ended and it appears to be clearing.A few showers are expected today and then some very warm air will be moving in for the weekend...possibly breaking records.

The forecast:

Showers ending this morning then a mix of sun and cloud. Amount 2 to 4 mm. Fog dissipating this morning. Wind south 30 km/h becoming southwest 50 gusting to 80 this morning. Temperature steady near 8. UV index 4 or moderate.
Tonight
Cloudy periods. Wind southwest 40 km/h gusting to 60 becoming west 20 this evening. Low plus 4.
Friday
Sunny. Wind west 20 km/h. High 13.
The high on my thermometer yesterday was +10°C.
