Yesterday was sunny and dry here and fairly warm...except for the wind.There is still a chill in the breeze coming off the ocean.Comms from local fishermen monitored on the marine VHF band have included very low ocean temps for this time of the year.They are still in the 4°C range.
Last evening was clear with normal temps for this time of the year.Clouds moved into the area overnight and the forecast rain is on the way.

A vigorous trough of low pressure will gradually make its way towards the Maritimes today and on Wednesday. Periods of rain are forecast to develop later today and continue into Wednesday. Rain over the southwestern part of Nova Scotia is expected to intensify early Wednesday morning then gradually taper later in the day. Les Suetes winds gusting to 100 km/h are expected tonight and Wednesday from Margaree Harbour to Bay St Lawrence.

Tonight
Periods of rain. Amount 5 to 10 mm. Fog patches. Wind southeast 40 km/h gusting to 60. Temperature rising to 10 by morning.
Wednesday
Rain at times heavy changing to showers in the evening. Amount 40 to 50 mm. Fog patches. Wind south 50 km/h gusting to 70. High 11.
