Yesterday was pretty wet and cool here.Besides just rain,we had a few periods of sleet mixed in in the morning.The rain was quite heavy in the afternoon.It ended in the late afternoon but conditions remained damp and cool.
Total rainfall yesterday was about 11mm.
The temps have warmed up overnight but this morning it is raining quite hard again and another rainfall warning is in effect:

Rainfall amounts near 50 millimetres are forecast for the above regions.
A vigorous trough of low pressure will slowly make its way across the Maritimes today and tonight. The rain associated with this trough will be heavy at times along the Atlantic coast of Nova Scotia. Rainfall amounts of 40 to 50 mm are generally expected from Yarmouth County eastward to Halifax county with some higher amounts of 60 to 70 mm forecast over parts of the south shore.
Les Suetes winds gusting to 100 km/h have developed over the Cape Breton Highlands from Margaree Harbour to Bay St Lawrence. These will continue through today and tonight ending near dawn Thursday.

Warmer and drier weather is on the way for the remainder of the week.

Drizzle ending in the morning then cloudy with sunny periods and 60 percent chance of showers. Clearing in the evening. Fog dissipating late in the morning. Wind south 30 km/h becoming southwest 40 gusting to 70 late in the morning then diminishing to 20 late in the day. High 10.
