Min / max over the past 24 hours, as recorded on my station:
(Temps are in °C)
High: +11.8
Low: -0.2
Today's forecast: A mix of sun and cloud. High 6.
Tonight
Clear early this evening then partly cloudy with 30 percent chance of
showers late this evening and after midnight. Wind becoming northwest 20
km/h gusting to 40 near midnight. Low zero.
Today's weather trivia: 5 November
1913: A recent cold snap with temperatures dipping to -11°C forced a Port
Arthur, ON, physician, who was visiting a work camp, to walk 60 km around
the shore of Lake Bateman. The return boat that was to transport him near
the train could not break through ice that had frozen firmly in just 2 days.
Walking the shoreline was the only way out.
