We finally had a nice day here yesterday.The sky cleared in the morning and
temps were on the upper end of seasonal values for the day.The evening was
clear and cool but temps were still slightly above the seasonal low.
Overnight clouds moved into the area and rain is expected later today.Some
clearing is possible tomorrow and then it's back to rain to start the work
week.

Today:Increasing cloudiness. 30 percent chance of showers this morning.
Periods of rain beginning near noon. Amount 10 to 15 mm. Fog patches
developing this afternoon. Wind south 20 km/h gusting to 40. High 8 except
14 inland. UV index 5 or moderate.
Tonight:Showers ending late this evening then cloudy with 60 percent chance
of drizzle. Amount 5 mm. Fog patches. Wind south 20 km/h gusting to 40
becoming light this evening. Low plus 5.
Sunday:A mix of sun and cloud. Fog patches dissipating in the morning. High
10 except 15 inland.
Monday:Showers. Low plus 5. High 8.

Wind south 10 to 15 knots increasing to 15 to 20 this afternoon then
diminishing to light this evening. Wind increasing to northeast 10
to 15 Sunday morning and to 15 to 20 Sunday evening. A few showers

Today's Weather Trivia:
1960: The rain-swelled Mattagami River flooded a quarter of Timmins, ON, to
more than 1 m deep. Some 600 residents were ordered from their homes. A
mother of 8 refused to leave her 40 cows. Fish and game clubs donated 45
boats to rescue victims. Evacuees sheltered in halls and local armories. Log
booms burst, and 30,000 logs surged downriver, threatening the bridge
between Timmins and Mountjoy.

this area.It is NOT located in Liverpool but is approx 10kms outside of town
and on the seashore.The temperature difference between the town of Liverpool
