We had a very nice day here yesterday with temps reaching the +20C mark
along with generally light winds and plenty of sunshine.The evening was
mostly clear and mild and temps remained mild through the overnight hours.
Today is expected to be similar to yesterday but we may see a few
showers.More showers are possible later tonight and the rest of the week
will be cloudy and wet but mild.

25 April 2007: According to experts, record cold November (2006)
temperatures in the West-13 days lower than -20°C and 5 days lower
than -30°C, including an extreme minimum of -37.1°C on November 29-had
halted, at least temporarily, the spread of mountain pine beetle from
British Columbia into Alberta. Encouraging survey information showed beetles

A widespread triangle of bright stars climbs into view in the east this
evening. About an hour after sunset, look in the east for yellow-orange
Arcturus. Well to its lower right is blue-white Spica, with Regulus well
above them.

* The Western Head weather station is the official reporting station for
this area.It is NOT located in Liverpool but is approx 10kms outside of town
and on the seashore.The temperature difference between the town of Liverpool
and the weather station can be quite large,especially in the summer months.
