Conditions in Liverpool,NS at 7:34:21 AM : 17.7°C | Mostly clear | Wind: WSW 8 km/h

            It was quite nice here yesterday with afternoon temps reaching to 23°C along with a light breeze and lots of sunshine.The evening was clear and mild and temps did not drop much overnight.

Today is going to be a scorcher here….temps were already near 18°C at 7AM.A few showers are possible tomorrow and temps will remain warmer than seasonal norms for the next couple of days.

 

The 3 day forecast for our area issued by Environment Canada :

·         Today -- Sunny with cloudy periods. Fog patches along parts of the coast early this morning. Wind becoming west 20 km/h gusting to 40 early this afternoon. High 26. UV index 7 or high.

·         Tonight -- A few clouds. Fog patches along the coast this evening and after midnight. Wind west 20 km/h gusting to 40 becoming light this evening. Low 12.

·         Tuesday -- A mix of sun and cloud. A few showers beginning late in the evening. Fog patches along the coast in the evening. Wind becoming southwest 20 km/h in the evening. High 15 except 20 inland.

·         Wednesday -- A mix of sun and cloud with 40 percent chance of showers. Low 7.

 

Today's Weather Trivia:

May 24,2006: Lightning penetrated 3 points of the metal roof of a provincial government building in Red Lake, ON, which housed forest-fire officials.   • ISS(visible): No visible sightings for the next while because the ISS is passing over our area during daylight hours.
  • Spica, the brightest star of the constellation Virgo, huddles close to the Moon tonight. It is above the Moon as night falls. There are no other bright stars or planets around it, so Spica is easy to pick out. – [Star Date Online]
