Yesterday was a ‘scorcher’ here with afternoon temps reaching to the mid-20°C range and lots of sunshine.Temps were much cooler on the coast as the fog did not move off as much as it did on Saturday and barely made it to +10°C.The evening was clear and mild with a little fog moving onshore through the overnight hours.
More warm and sunny weather is expected for the next couple of days but some rain is expected by mid-week.

The planets Venus and Mercury are low in the west as night begins to fall the next few evenings. Venus is the brilliant "evening star." Much fainter Mercury is just a little to the lower right of Venus.
