  • Today’s Weather Trivia:

April 19,1927: Mild weather across southern Alberta, with temperatures exceeding 25°C, prompted ranchers to let their stock out to graze on the prairie. During a blizzard near Coronation, AB, a herd of cattle wandered onto the weakening ice of a frozen pond. It took 24 hours to free the animals, and 20 head were lost.
