Yesterday turned out to be a little more stormier than expected.Snow began in the mid-afternoon and was quite intense by times.It changed over to rain a few hours later and the evening was above 0°C with the rain quite heavy in the late evening and the wind quite strong.
Overnight it cleared and the temps have dropped to the freezing point.There are reports of icy road conditions in many parts of the area this morning.Today and tomorrow are expected to remain a few degrees below freezing and then warmer for the weekend and into next week.

The high on my thermometer yesterday was +3°C.
