Friday Jan 2 - Winter Is Here To Stay

Yesterday was a cold and blustery day here.The temp held at -10°C for the day and the wind was quite strong with windchill values at around -20°C.
Conditions are expected to improve a little with a high of -2°C expected for today but the gusty winds will persist.There's a possible chance of some more snow this evening but only slight amounts are expected.
The cold is expected to be with us through the weekend and then above freezing temps are expected for Monday.

The high on my thermometer yesterday was -10°C.

Today
Day: Cloudy. 40 percent chance of flurries early this morning. Clearing this morning. Local blowing snow early this morning. Wind northwest 30 km/h gusting to 50 becoming west 30 early this morning. High minus 2.
Night: Cloudy. Periods of snow beginning this evening and ending overnight. Amount 2 to 4 cm. Wind west 30 km/h becoming southwest 20 early this evening then becoming west 20 near midnight. Temperature rising to zero this evening then falling.
Saturday
A mix of sun and cloud. 40 percent chance of flurries in the afternoon and evening. Wind west 30 km/h becoming northwest 40 gusting to 60 late in the day. High minus 4.
