Wednesday Dec 10 - A Big Change

We have had quite a change in temps from 24 hours ago.They have risen 20°C and we are now at +10°C.Along with the milder air that moved in yesterday evening we are getting a lot of wind and there are reports of some wind related power failures around the province.All is OK here...for now.
Temps are expected to drop to near freezing later today and there is a possibility of freezing rain for tonight and tomorrow.Friday is expected to be another warmer than normal day.

The high on my thermometer yesterday was +5°C.

Today
Day: Periods of rain. Amount 5 mm. Wind southwest 30 km/h gusting to 50 increasing to 50 gusting to 80 this morning. High 11.
Night: Rain at times heavy. Amount 20 mm. Wind southwest 50 km/h gusting to 80 diminishing to 20 gusting to 40 near midnight then becoming light overnight. Low plus 2.
Thursday
Periods of rain. Amount 15 mm. Wind northeast 20 km/h becoming light late in the day. High plus 3.
