My view this morning.
Yesterday was a seriously cold day here. The temp on my thermometer was at -15°C for most of the day.We had lots of sun but there was no heat in it and the wind didn't help matters any, either. It was a perfect day to be inside, which I was unable to do,with the windchill being reported at -25°C or lower.
One of the biggest problems we have here right now, besides the cold,is that there is ice everywhere and,in most places,it is covered with a skim of snow making it very slippery.
This morning it is colder than it's been here for awhile...it's good that the wind has died out.Fortunately, this won't be lasting long here and temps are expected to rise to the plus side later today with some snow changing to rain in the forecast..
