Temps are back to normal after 3 days of 30C+ temps.
Today..Increasing cloudiness. 60 percent chance of showers or drizzle
late this morning and this afternoon with risk of thundershowers.
Fog retreating to the coast this morning. Wind southwest 30 km/h
gusting to 50. High 15 except 22 inland. UV index 6 or high.
Tonight..Periods of rain mixed with drizzle. Amount 15 mm. Fog
spreading inland early this evening. Wind southwest 30 km/h gusting
to 50. Low 14.
Tuesday..Periods of rain ending in the morning then clearing. Amount
2 to 4 mm. Fog retreating to the coast early in the morning. Wind
southwest 30 km/h gusting to 50 becoming west 20 in the afternoon
then becoming northwest 20 gusting to 40. High 23 except 14 along

Today's weather trivia: 26 March 1830: Halifax was hit by one of the most
violent snow storms and destructive gales on record. Tidal water entirely
covered all the wharves, wetting everything, including the lower floors of
almost every house near the water. Rising waters swept away homes, wharves,
and a distillery, and killed 2 fine horses. Damage was also done to the
naval yard, particularly the wall in front of the Naval Hospital.

through a house, dug into the road's shoulder, and slammed into a shed.
Aviation fuel filled the air and soaked the ground but the aircraft did not
explode and the 10 people on board survived.
