Today's Weather Trivia:
2006: When temperatures hit 31°C and the humidex 41, Ottawa Public Health
issued its first summer heat warning. Jerome, a one-year-old dromedary camel
owned by Parc Safari in Hemmingford, QC, was supposed to make the media
rounds in Ottawa as a zoo promotion. His handlers postponed the trip: a
3-hour drive in a trailer without air-conditioning.
