Yesterday was a mostly sunny day with temps reaching into the upper teens.Unlike last week,winds were relatively calm.The evening was clear but temps dropped to the low single digits overnight.

We may see a few showers today and then it’s back to sunshine on Wednesday.More rain is expected over the weekend.

12 October 1875:1875: A major storm lashed parts of Nova Scotia. On Cape Breton Island, several roads and bridges and thousands of dollars' worth of logs and cordwood were swept away. The crew from 3 wrecked ships arrived in Sydney in destitute condition.
