It was still mild here yesterday with temps reaching +7 on my thermometer.The wind was rather brisk for most of the day but died out in the evening and temps dropped to a degree or two above freezing.
Last evening I took a look at Simeon Perkin's Diary written 230 years ago here in Liverpool,NS....the weather was similar then to what it is now....read it here.
