ISS/Endeavour today

Endeavour undocks from the ISS today. That means that we will see 2 objects moving through the night sky.

Unfortunately, viewing is very limited here now and the only possible view tonight in NS will be at

9:40PM,rising in the west, traveling very low in the western sky to the south.

A NOTE:I have mentioned this before and will continue to do so until it is generally known that there is NO weather station in Liverpool,Nova Scotia.Temps that are broadcast by radio,TV and on the internet and said to be Liverpool are actually from a place called Western Head. The station is located on a point of land that juts out into the ocean and is not at all similar temperature wise to Liverpool conditions.Frankly,Western Head is the place where Liverpudlians go on the hot days of summer to cool off…..it’s usually 10°C or more  lower in temp than in town.

Someday the media may realize this and get it right.Last night’s weather broadcast on a local TV station was way off the mark. They reported that it was only +16 in Liverpool.Well,I live almost in Liverpool and my thermometer was at +23°C at that time.

Please help spread the word, folks….Western Head IS NOT Liverpool.I have sent numerous emails to the media outlets about this and have never received a response.

In the meantime,if you really want to know what it’s like in the town of Liverpool, use the temps that are reported from Kejimkujik National Park.Theirs are more similar.
