Monday Dec 1 - Rain

There's a fair amount of rain and wind in store for us today.It's not a very good day to be on the water and,unfortunately,there is a SAR mission underway since last evening for a missing lobster fisherman 20Kms east of here.Since it has been fairly mild overnight there is hope that it will be a rescue mission and not a recovery.

Yesterday was another warm and sunny day here.The temp dipped to slightly below freezing in the early evening and then rose to above freezing by midnight.The warmth is expected to last through this week with some precip on the way for tomorrow.

Saturday Nov 29 - A Lot Better Than It Was A Week Ago

Things here are a lot better today than they were last Saturday.That was when we awoke to about 20cms of snow.The mild weather over the past week has melted it all away and we are back to bare ground.Our temps are expected to remain on the mild side for a few more days and Monday is forecast to be way above normal.

It was very windy and wet here yesterday.Total rainfall reported from the Western Head weather station was 8.7mm.On the plus side,the snow we received last weekend is all but gone.There are still a few patches left lying about and today's mild weather should take care of them.Temps are expected to remain on the plus side into next week.
